We also have an in-house Eye Doctor Loveland optical finishing lab run by our certified opticians. Dr. Becky Breneman Haley was born and raised in Fort Morgan. She graduated from Colorado College with a Bachelor’s degree in biology.



Patients often have systemic autoimmune conditions that are associated with their uveitis. Our staff is required to wear medical grade face-masks and protective disposable gloves at all times. For all treatment procedures, an additional surgical face shield is worn by staff. Feel confident and assured that your eyes are well taken care of. The treatment room at the Fort Collins location features music and visuals so clients can relax while they receive services. The company was founded in 2016 by Katie Wafer, a former Denver Broncos cheerleader and medical sales professional. She completed her undergraduate work at CSU, studying Biological Sciences. Dr. Loomis received her doctorate of optometry with honors from Pacific University in 1996. Upon graduation, she received an award for outstanding fitting of contact lenses. Dr. Reistad sees patients at both our Loveland and Fort Collins locations.

After graduating, he moved to Colorado and has been in practice for 19 years. Dr. Hey specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical co-management of several eye diseases, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. He is a Certified Wave Lens Designer and has a particular interest in orthokeratology and scleral contact lens fitting. We know all about them, and we are ready to diagnose and treat anything that’s getting in the way of you living your extraordinary life.
Dr. Michael Torgerson founded PVE over three decades ago in 1991 alongside his wife, Joy. Years later, the two were joined by their son Eric after he completed his professional optometry training. Since then, our practice has grown with the additions of Dr. Nicole Ethridge, Dr. Christine Shukis, and several other dedicated team members. We’ve built our entire practice around making it easy for our patients to get the best and most comprehensive care. If you cannot attend a scheduled appointment we ask you to please call and reschedule at least one business day in advance so that another patient may be able to take your place in the schedule.
