Optometrists receive their medical eye training while enrolled in Optometry school and during internships. Training may take place in colleges of Optometry, hospitals, clinics and private practices. In many instances Optometry students and Ophthalmology residents will co-manage medical cases. Dr. Huynh has travelled to Peru to provide eye care for those in underserved areas. She is dedicated to providing the highest quality of vision and professional eye health care to all her patients. Dr. Huynh is excited to join the Oakville Eye Care team and looks forward to serving the local community. Dr. Smart completed her Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences at Wilfrid Laurier University. There, she developed a fascination with the visual system in her physics, neuroscience and anatomy courses.
